Hello aspirant,
If you want to improve your maths, first of all, focus on clearing the basics of the all the concepts. When you are clear with the basics, move on to new concepts that you weren't taught earlier in schools and then build their foundation. As you physics and chemistry are strong, you can devote less time towards them and highly focus on maths. After learning all the concepts, start solving basics questions from the board textbooks and handbooks which will help you to build confidence and develop a command on the subject. Then gradually move onto the core questions that are or can be asked in JEE. This step wise process will help you to boost your score and improve your chances of selection.
I hope you find this useful, Thank you and All the Best!
Hello Aman.
Brother I can really understand your situation. I have appeared for jee advance myself and it was a epic experience. So now I am going give you some tips that will help you in this situation of yours.
First of all as you are confident with your physics and chemistry just practice previous years questions for them everyday. Don't stop practicing them and do only maths for the remaining days. Next what you have to do for maths, take some old assignments of yours and for 2 days keep practicing old questions which you have done in the past (not very easy ones, practice moderate-to-hard sums). This will brush up your basic concepts and make you confortable with solving sums continuously. After 2 days, try solving maths advance level questions without any particular time check. Try books like IA MAROON's Calculus of one variable, Plane trigonometry & coordinate geometry by SL LONEY these books will help you to practice hard question and build the concepts. Do this for 3 days. Remember you need to solve phy and chem pyq's everyday along with this. Now next, with a timer solve maths advance level pyq's. make 2 hr slots and practice each in single sitting. Don't stop or check any sum in between just keep solving within time constraint. Check all the sums after 2 hr complete and then refer solutions. Practice this till you solve majority of them correctly and note what concepts' questions you are doing wrong. now don't study these concepts or topics again, that will be waste of time now. Just keep them in mind and during the actual exam be careful with questions from these topics. Try to keep as much negative questions as possible. If you are even having 1% doubt then better don't mark it. Save you +ve marks.
Till then practice hard, be regular, don't give up and be confident. All the best for everything. Hope all this helps you.
