As you mentioned that you are from Lingayat caste then according to the OBC(Other backward category) list of Karnatka, you fall under OBC category. So, you need to fill the OBC in category column of KCET application form. Further OBC is divided in to category 1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B and as per the norms you fall under category 3B.
