Hello Aspirant,

Once you're married, your father and mother's earnings are not evaluated as your yearly household income.

If you live in a family with your in-laws and their earnings are involved in the family expenditure, then your family will include your in-law's earnings, and properties will be evaluated as family income.

Eligibility Norm  for EWS reservation,

  1. General Category
  2. Annual family income shall not surpass INR 8 LPA.

As you have tied the knot, your parent's annual earnings shall not be evaluated to examine your eligibility for an EWS reservation.

I hope it helps.

Thank you.
