DU only offers B.Sc Mathematics, and not B.A. Maths. So, if you want to pursue maths, then B.A. in maths is not available in DU. You can choose other B.A. subjects like english, economics, political science. However, I don't see any problem in pursuing B.Sc. Maths because its almost the same and you will have equal opportunities. But, its completely on you depending on your future aspirations. While filling the form, you can choose as many subjects as you want. You can select all subjects or just 3(or any number of) subjects but you will get admission in only one course.

You can choose any course of your choice in Delhi University if you fulfill the marks and eligibility criteria. DU offers a large variety of courses in Bachelor of Arts including 'pass' and 'honours'.



As you are a maths student, you can go for Economics(hons) too. You can go for other courses like English (hons.), Psychology etc.



Remember that the cut offs of the best colleges are really high so choose wisely, your subjects and colleges. It would be a better option to read and know a little about the subject you want to opt for.

And yes, be ready to bear a deduction of about 2-3% from your percentage for the change of stream.
