With reference to yoru above mentioned query, i would like to tell you that you can still apply for NEET state counselling even if you don't belong to the NRI quota.
Candidates can apply in NRI category, only if they are eligible. There is an NRI quota in some government/ private medical colleges/ deemed universities for NEET-UG qualified candidates.
Further, to be eligible for NRI quota, the Eligibility criteria for candidates are given below :
1. A person who is an Indian origin and settled in foreign countries . 2. A person who was born abroad but the parents are of Indian origin.
