I am not belonging from CBSE board I am from West Bengal board may I will eligible for DU Jat after class 12?

Hi

according to me , yes you are eligible for DU , it is not necessary to complete 12th CBSE board to get admission in DU.

Eligibility criteria for DU JAT 2018 is not released yet.So i am providing you eligibility criteria of 2017:

  • Every aspirant must have passed in the March/April board examinations, conducted by a recognised board, to be eligible to appear in the test.The Senior Secondary School Examination must be of CBSE or any other examination which is considered equivalent by the University of Delhi.
  • Candidates who have appeared in the senior secondary examinations and are awaiting their results are also eligible to apply.
  • Candidates belonging to the General Category should have an aggregate of minimum 60% in four papers including English, Mathematics and other two subjects from the list of elective subjects as approved by the University of Delhi.
  • The minimum percentage requirement for SC, ST, CW and PwD category candidates is 55 per cent in each of the four papers considered for computing the aggregate.
  • In case of students awaiting their board results, they need to produce the confirmed result and marksheet of the qualifying examination on the day of the DU JAT Counselling/ Selection Procedure for admission in BMS/BBA (FIA)/ B.A (Hons) Business Economics programs.
  • Candidates without any result confirmation marksheets would not be considered as eligible, and will not be allowed for admissions.
  • In case of candidates belonging to any other category except general (OBC-non creamy layer/SC/ST/PwD/CW), they need to produce their category certificate at the final admission stage.
  • Candidates with compartment in any of the subjects are not eligible as per the DU JAT eligibility criteria.
  • Also, candidates who have appeared for XII class improvement papers are not eligible to apply for DU JAT for the current year. They may apply next year.
