Hello aspirant,
Jee is a tough exam and it's hard to score if you are not prepared well.Very less candidates are able to score even 50% of the total marks and many fall in the category who have secured less than 100 marks.
Generally the cutoff is less than 100
The previous year cutoff is as follows
General - 74
Obc-45
Sc -29
St-24
Pwd- -35
This year also the cutoffs are expected to hover around the same range with a buffer of 10 marks.
Now to maximise your score only attempt the questions which you surely know and leave the questions you don't know.Guessing and prompting will do more harm than good and can lead to negative marks. Many students just miss their cutoffs because of negative marks.
Attempt that subject first for which you have prepared well. Also don't leave chemistry at the end as it is more scoring and takes less time.
Hope it helps.
Brother,
No need to worry for sc the cut off was 29 last year. In worst of scenario the cut off this year will be 50. .
So just to score 50 marks you just need to get 12-13 questions right that is 4 question from each section that is PCM.
In physics topics like optics, photoelectric effect, dual wave nature, modern phyics is quite easy. You can get easily 20-25 marks just in physics.
Chemistry section is mostly memory oriented. It's easy basic questions for solutions and kinetics and some too easy questions from inorganic.
If we talk about Mathematics one question will come from boolean algebra it's just like eating piece of cake, easy questions come from chapters like sets relation and function, probability .
It's easy to score 45-50 marks just don't get afraid there and don't get panic you had 180 minutes.
