Unfortunately, it is mandatory to study mathematics and clear examination of the same in order to pursue B.com honours from University of Delhi. It has been their criteria for the longest time, not only for B.com honours but also for BA economics honours it is necessary to have mathematics in 12th grade.

You can go for the next best option, that is B.com programme from University of Delhi which doesn't require mathematics criteria.

Candidates who wants to pursue B.Com. (Hons.) REQUIRES TO FULLFILL THE FOLLOWING CRITERIAS :

50% or more marks in Mathematics/Business Mathematics which is additional requirement and

1. An aggregate of 60% or more in English/Hindi and combination of best three among the following subjects: Mathematics, Accountancy, Economics and Business Studies/ Commerce.

2. Inclusion of any subject other than mentioned above from List B in the combination of best three will lead to a deduction of 1% per subject on the aggregate, with a maximum net deduction of 2%.3. Inclusion of any subject other than List B in the combination of best three will lead to a deduction of 2.5% per subject on the aggregate of the Best Four.
