Without qualifying for NEET, you cannot take admission in colleges under NEET. Now, NEET is common entrance exam for all courses like MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS and also for foreign medical colleges. So, you can't take admission in BAMS without appearing and qualifying in NEET.

if you meant Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery then no, NEET is compulsory regarding this, along with other ayush courses such as bachelor of homeopathic medicine and surgery, bachelor of unani medicine and surgery, bachelor of siddha medicine and surgery, bachelor of ayurvedic medicine and surgery apart from MBBS/BDS/BVSc for 15% AIQ, from this year even for BSc Nursing admission NEET scores are acceptable, and in states like maharashtra for BPT admission NEET scores are accepted, and in institutes like Jamia Hamdard even for Bpharm admission NEET scores are considered regarding this,
