If you're good at Biology but not interested in pursuing MBBS, NEET might not be the best option for you. Instead, JEE could be a better choice, especially if you're interested in engineering fields like Computer Science, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering. Since you're average at math, it might require extra effort, but JEE offers a broader range of career opportunities in engineering. Consider exploring various engineering disciplines and choose based on your interests and strengths.

Hello

If you are good at Biology but not interested in pursuing MBBS , NEET may not be the right path for you , since it is primarily for MBBS and BDS courses . However, if you are interested in other healthcare-related fields .

there are alternatives such as :

1. BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) – Can be pursued through NEET .

2. BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurveda , Medicine and Surgery) or BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) – These also require NEET.

3. BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) , Nursing or Paramedical courses – These can be pursued through other entrance exams , some of which don't require math .

If you are not inclined toward healthcare but still want to use your biology knowledge , consider fields like Biotechnology , Zoology , Microbiology or Environmental Science . These may not require NEET and focus more on biological sciences .

Hi Chaitali,

First, take a deep breath and think what you really want to pursue in future. If you don't want to pursue MBBS, then there's no point of attempting NEET.

Attempting any Entrance exam gives you an opportunity to start your Career in that particular field. Hence, if you go for JEE or even NEET, you'll have to put in effort and then will have to do Engineering.

Being average in Mathematics is not something to worry about, just practice more and you'll become a pro in it. First, decide which Career option you want to go for, then attempt any of these Entrance Exams.

NEET and JEE are equally tough from different perspectives. Hence, attempting any of these will require consistency, hard work and practice. So be sure before attempting them.

All the best for your Future!

See, ultimately what matters is your interest in the career path to choose. What you can definitely do is connect to a career counselor and then they can analyse your aptitude and interest and align then with your personality and choices, for the best career option for you.

All the very best!

Hello,

Selecting the medical stream is preferable if biology interests you more, you enjoy learning about it, and you wish to examine every single molecule of a living thing.

Although the IIT JEE competitive exam is undoubtedly difficult to pass, this does not imply that only top students should attempt it. Even mediocre or weak students can succeed in IIT if they have a regular study schedule, efficient time management, and the correct preparation.

If you are not interested in pursuing medical field courses, thene there is no point to give the NEET exam. Then you can go for JEE mains if you have interest in engineering. For pursuing Engineering, you don't need to be at top in maths . You can improve maths with practice, if you have interest in engineering .
