I am OBC candidate from Maharashtra and while filling the preference form system is giving below ear-marking option 1. open 2. reserved could you please let me know which option should I select to retain my OBC reservation?

If you belong to OBC Category, you need to select Reserved. Because Open Category is for General Category students. I got selected in bams and I'm having obc category but quota given is open
and for some students they are also belong to obc category but in front of their name the quota is obc why this is so
