Marks required in neet to get a seat in government medical college keeps varying every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks scored by students, toughness level of exam, the state one belong to, category of the student etc . But after going through past year trends I will suggest you to prepare well and try to get at least 550+ marks in neet, better try to get score in between 580-600 marks to be on safer side and to get a good government medical college. For example, in the year 2018, a general category student with 562 marks got a seat in Topiwala National Medical College, Mumbai under state quota.
