You can join coaching institute or do self study as per your wish. Start from basic books like NCERT first to clear your basic concepts. After that, solve RD SHARMA for Mathematics, HC VERMA for Physics, OP TONDON for Chemistry. Practice previous years questions and solve mock tests as much as you can. Be motivated and do meditation daily to keep yourself calm during the preparation time.

If you are a partial dropper for preparing JEE exams then this would definitely help you. There are two possibilities that either you are preparing in any couching institute or you are self preparing. So being a self study lover you should buy some IIT related reference books of good publication and start preparing questions from them . Do revise clss 11th and 12th books for reference. Also go through previous year's question papers for reference at the end of your preparation. Hope you find it useful.
