Hello,
I am very glad to hear that you are applying for MSc. in Biotechnology. The admission for such courses usually happen through entrance examination. The eligibility also varies according to college. Some institutes say Bachelors in any field of biological sciences, some state the specific streams like botany, agriculture etc. Please mention the college about which you are talking for more specific answer.
As you are pursuing BSc. in Chemistry and not Biochemistry, this will not be considered as biology. But you have complementary subjects of belonging to biology. You may also refer the website or brochure of the college.
