Hello Deepak,

Generally, to get admission in reputed institutes you have to qualify any of these exams, CAT, MAT, XAT and CMAT. Some cases reputed Universities/Institutes will conduct their own entrance test to for the students those who missed the chance to appear national level tests, like Lovely Professional University(LPUNEST) and SRM University(SRMJEEM) . This test will give you eligibility to join in that particular Institute/University. Before joining any institutes you must have to check these parameters, Parameters are 1) Placement 2)Faculty and 3)Infrastructure. Because these things will help you to enhance your career.

Hope this information will help you. Best wishes.

Good Luck!

There is no problem if you have not appeared in any of the management aptitude examinations.you can appear when you complete your graduation so till the time you can start you preparations for various MBA Entrance  Examinations. You can join a coaching institute, you can also opt for online coaching or can prepare for it through self study. Give mocks to judge your aptitude and improve on  your weak areas. You can also join a company in order to get work experience and do your MBA preparations side by side.

So, at last choose the option which satisfies you best.

Good Luck

CAT is an exam that tests your expertise in 3 basic fields:
1. Mathematics and Data Interpretation
2. English and Reading Comprehension
3. Logical Reasoning

If you are serious for CAT, you cannot ignore any one of the sections. One has to be a jack of all the three sections to ace the test, this becomes more important since one never knows what the composition of the CAT paper is going to be next year.

I started preparing for CAT 2014 sometime in August 2014, and only prepared using Self-Study. So, this article should help you if you are interested in preparing on your own, not looking up to any of the coaching classes.

First and foremost you should do is to figure how much time you have and then judge yourself as to which section do you need to work more on . For example I knew I had to work more for English part than mathematics or logical reasoning.

Second thing must be to decide your sources of preparation based on these judgments about your strengths and weaknesses and time availability. You will find a plethora of books and websites and coaching centers available to you - choose wisely.

Third and last thing : Now that you have the materials, work out a plan to prepare. Be sure to include 3 things in your planning:

Hi Deepak!

  • If your aim is to get into a good college , it would be a wiser

choice to write one of the common entrance exams like CAT , XAT ,

MAT etc.

  • In that case you can take a break of few months after your BBA ,

prepare for them and appear for them during the final months of 2019.

  • If your aim is to just do your MBA , you can apply for colleges that

do not take any entrance exam scores into consideration, although these

colleges might lack considerably in standard.

  • Some state - level and private university offered exams that you

can still apply for and write would be :

Thapar University MBA Entrance Exam

SRM University MBA Admission Test(SRMCAT)

TANCET

APICET

You can also consider Universities offering MBA in Distance Education Mode.

All the best !
