I am planning on preparing for banking exams. I haven't started the preparations yet. Could you please give all the details I should be knowing about banking exams which includes the syllabus, when does the exam take place, how many exams are there?

I hope you are doing. I would like to know you that their are many posts in banks for which candidate has to apply form and give entrances and interviews for that post . The entrance syllabus is almost same in all post of banks but difficulty level varies. The questions comes mainly from topics like:
Banking economy,data interpretation ,mathematics, current affairs ,general knowldege, logical ability
Some of posts of bank which you can apply are
1. SBI PO
2. State bank of india clerk exam
3.State bank of india specialist officer exam
