Ashwin Ramesh, Work experience is not matter for Gate, If you want to give Gate exam seriously so first clear you basic concepts in subjects which you studied earlier like if i talk about for CS student then C programming, Data Structure, Operating System..etc and Aptitude is compulsory for all so first download Gate 2020 Syllabus and then analyse all subjects and you can buy books for Gate prepration and also can watch Youtube channels for prepration.

So My friend if you really want to do hard work then start today because almost in August last Registration will be start.
