i am planning to take civil engineering in btech it can be good or bad i don't get it /cse in government college . can i choose civil engineering future scope of civil engineering please explain me

I hope you are doing good. I would like to know you that stream of civil ,ECE,eee is sometimes sounds to be much better option than cse. It just a trend in india to aim for CSE branch from 10+2 and that stream will land you in some mnc with a very high package , due to this increasing demand cutt goes very high for CSE .If i tell about todays scneraio most of people who dont get cse branch , they do btech in ece and eee and sits in placements together with cse for IT companies.  So their are two options for candidate of civil either he can go in civil field or it . But if we talk about scope , scope of civil is not very good in india

Civil Engineering is one of the hardest but one of the most important branch of engineering.

There are numerous opportunities in this field, you can be you can be a planner, construction manager, or you can be structure designer.

You can build dams, manage big buildings,roads and everything, so companies related to constructions and maintenance are in need of good civil engineers constantly.

You can have job in variety of fields like -

1. Geotechnical engineering
2. Urban planning Engineer.
3. Construction manager
4. Transportation engineer.

Also you can apply for government PSUs and government organisations like PWD,MCD etc.
