I am preparing for jee 2022. my preparation is not wall.I am drop the year and I am going attempt jee in 2023 .my question is 75% criteria is applied for me in 2023

If you are talking about the percentage of 12th standard, then yes, 75% and up are eligible, for general category. The percentage required might be less for the reserved category. Its completely fine taking a year gap, it'll help you gain a wide perspective for things.

Try attending the exam this year too, even if your preparation is not top notch. It will give you a practical experience of sitting in an exam hall and actually facing the exam!

See 75% criteria was only relaxed for last 2 years due to the pandemic and for upcoming session there is no announcement by the respective authorities regarding the 75% criteria so for now it is relaxed but what happens in 2023, we have to wait for it.

However, there are some criterion which you need to satisfy in order to appear for JEE-Main so let us discuss them.

1--- Age criteria :- There is no age limit to appear in JEE-Main but note that there might be the age limit in any particular institution taking admission through JEE-Main score, so you should keep this thing in mind.

2--- Qualifying Examination :- To be eligible for JEE-Main one should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics as mandatory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject from any of the recognized central or state board.

3--- Year of qualification :- For JEE-Main 2023 only those candidates who have passed Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2021, 2022 or 2023; or those who will be appearing in Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2023, would be eligible to appear.

So if you follow all above criterion then you are definitely eligible for JEE-Main.
