Dear Aspirant,
Any candidate can clear the CAT exam if you prepare strategically and regularly.Since you are from non-engineering background it would be somewhat difficult for you at starting because you have to study quantitative aptitude, logical and verbal reasoning, data sufficiency and other topics also which you don't have studied till now and there is no any connection of CAT topics with any degree. If you are good at maths and aptitude you should try to solve 70-100 questions daily start with basics like memorising square roots, cubes of first 20 numbers and than fractions, approximation and percentages (make formulas table in your notes) and denote 3 hours daily for different sections because speed is matter in CAT exam.So you have to set daily target for different sections.Follow youtube tutorials, books and make notes of formulas daily. You have to practice daily.Engineers don't solve CAT problems daily usually everyone prepares for any entrance in the final year but they have more exposure to mathematics but again CAT is all depend on aptitude skills which can be good of any student from any background. If you want to achieve something dedicate your time and stay confident.
Hope it is helpful
