I am pursuing m.com through correspondence. I am actually confused between CS and CMA which will be a better option to opt for?

Hello

In one line, CA is definitely better.

When Demonitisation & GST were implemented everyone was rushing to CA’s.

The only advantage CMA’s are having over CA’s is that, they can do cost audit. But believe me Cost audit is not mandatory for all companies and very less companies are having cost audit.

After doing CA, u can do whatever you want:

  1. Direct/Indirect taxation
  2. Statutory /Internal Audit
  3. Transfer Pricing
  4. Finance/ Accounts
  5. Planning & Management
  6. System Audit
  7. Corporate Compliance
  8. And the list goes on…

Hii trishna,

Cs and CMA are both very different courses.

One gives you an expertise in Corporate Law and other gives you an expertise in Management Accountancy.

Cs has all theory papers and CMA is more practical oriented.

Both are good in their ways.

Now,It depends on your interest.

CMA has more stronger placement s as compared to CS.

Choose wisely.

All the best
