I am pursuing M.Sc. Microbiology and qualified GATE life sciences 2020 with score 387. What should I do next to get admission in PhD from a good institution. Please also clear me how can i get GATE fellowship, is it under institutional fellowships or external procedure after admission.

hi,
see mhrd provides gate scholarship and after you join in any institute your scholarship procedure will be though that particular institute, scholarship stipends is slightly differ of iits, nits and state government college. for mtech students scholarship is 12, 400, however gate is not a fellow ship exam, after qualifying gate exam if you join phd in iits or iiser you will get 25000 as stipends as JRF, for SRF it is 28000.
