Public Service Commission, West Bengal (PSCWB) conducts combined competitive examination for recruitment to various posts under Group A, B, C and D.

The eligibility goes as follows:

The eligibility criteria of WBCS 2019 is prescribed by Public Service Commission, West Bengal. WBCS eligibility criteria 2019 includes age limit, educational qualification, etc. In order to become eligible for WBCS 2019, candidates must fulfill the eligibility conditions mandated by the Commission.

WBCS 2019 Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality - Candidates have to be a citizen of India

• Age limit – Candidates must be between 21 and 36 years of age as on January 1, 2019 to be eligible for WBCS 2019

• Relaxation of age – Candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories form West Bengal will be able to avail age relaxation in the upper age limit. For SC and ST candidates, age will be relaxed by 5 years while OBC candidates will be provided upto three years of age relaxation. Candidates from PwD categories will be given age concession upto 45 years

• Education Qualification – Candidate must have a degree from a recognised University to be eligible for WBCS
