I am really confused about cet 2018, it's level and change in syllabus. Some say very less than jee some say in par with jee???!!

The level of MHCET for engineering admissions is going to get tougher and at par with JEE from 2018. To help students prepare well for both state and national level entrance exams, the Maharashtra state government has decided to raise the standard of the state CET from next year.

But you should not take the additional pressure of it right now and concentrate on your JEE Preparation because if you can prepare well for JEE Main then you will be able to catch up any level of MHT CET.

The syllabus will be your 11th and 12th.

Though there would not be any change in the marking scheme of MHCET, there are chances that DTE might do away with the negative marking system in the exam.



The government has asked the Maharashtra Board of School and Higher Secondary Education to upgrade the Class XII curriculum. BUT there is as such no official announcement of change in the pattern till yet. SO you can refer to 2017 syllabus  of MHT CET in the link below:

The level may increase or decrease as its something which cannot be confirmed even officially. You will have to be prepared for any level of the pape
