Don't worry friend this will be more than enough to give you the adequate amount of logic concept and analytical approach towards solving problems it would be better if you do specify which board you belong to, but study hard and do well.
Wishing you best of luck for your future
Dear candidate;
MHT CET is an exam that focuses primarily on 2 aspects.
Speed of solving
Accuracy
The questions in the exam and mostly straightforward, and one doesn't need to do excessive thinking for questions. Due, to this, people often get the impression that this exam is very simple, and hardly any efforts are required for preparation. This is a bad bad bad misconception. So, my first advice would be,
Don't take the exam or the preparation lightly. Any competitive exam that differentiates the cream from the crowd isn't a cake walk. The goal of the exam is to score as high as possible, not just to clear it.
That being said, it also isn't as rigorously demanding as JEE. But please don't underestimate state level competition. There are tons of smart people everywhere.
Now, to the actual preparation part:
Completely read and solve all the hsc 12th state board books as soon as possible.
Make short, crisp and concise notes of all the chapters. You can use some of the tricks to make really good quality notes.
Use at least 2 different coloured pens. One for the regular notes (blue) and the second one for the points /theorems that are extremely important.
The size of notes should be small. Don't write your textbook all over again! On an average, a chapter of hsc can be covered in 3-5 pages of a regular book, which includes all the important points
Write in a crisp way. Remember, this isn't an exam. Try to write minimum notes with maximum points! Please pay extra attention to this point because otherwise, you may end up producing bulky notes
Maintain separate notebooks for notes of maths, physics and chemistry for cet. Don't mix it up with anything else.
After every chapter, make a heading of ‘extra points’ and leave 2 blank pages for it. This is an extremely useful trick, which we'll discuss in the answer later on.
3. Purchase a good set of books that contain large number of problems. I brought marvel's books and these were very helpful. The question bank was highly exhaustive and besides, the difficult questions were solved at the end of chapter, that helped in strengthening many concepts.
4. Try solving as many as problems you can, accurately and quickly. After solving, don't forget to check the answers! Otherwise all your efforts is wasted. If you are making mistakes, then congratulations, you are actually learning and getting better.
5. Note down the questions, that you didn't know how to solve/went wrong. Go back to those questions, and attempt them again. If you still encounter problems with it, then see the solution. NEVER EVER see the solution to the problem first. Directly seeing solutions never helps.
6. See if you learnt anything new. If you stumble over an point/formula/trick then add it in your extra points section. Believe me, this trick actually got me 10 extra marks in the actual exam.
Thank you.
