I am assuming you are from general category. Based on your overall academic profile, you will need to score atleast 98.5 percentile in CAT to get a call for the next round.

You have pretty good academic records along with work experience so it will definitely give you an edge over other students while selection.

See after CAT exam every IIM makes a merit to call students for next round of interview and WSAT list based on your aggregate score which comprises of many factors such as CAT marks, 10th 12th and graduation percentage, work experience, engineer or non engineer, gender with different weightages for different IIMs. As you already have an overall good profile so to get call and convert it you need to get a high percentile.

To get calls from top 3 IIMs like IIM A, B and C you need to score atleast above 99.67 percentile. For other old IIMs you need to have atleast 98+ percentile. With 95+ percentile you can get a call from all New IIMs.

With 99 percentile other than IIMs also you can get calls from top reputated colleges like FMS, SP Jain, JBIMS etc. But still I would strongly recommend you to have an aim for even higher percentile so that you don't miss the chance of getting a call from top 3 IIMs of our country.
