GATE 2025: Syllabus | Sample Papers
Dear sabir,
yes of course ,you can get IIT bombay at this marks.because the cutoff for M.E in IIT bombay is 600.
M.E in M tech breaks in three braches-M.E 1, M.E 2, M.E 3.
the cutoff of these three are given below.-
1) Specialization ME1 (Thermal & Fluids Engineering)-600.
2)Specialization ME2 (Design Engineering)-600.
3)Specialization ME3 (Manufacturing Engineering)-600.
the above cutoff is only for General.

Hi Sabir, cut off for the courses varies every year based on the various factors like number of seats, number of applicants and overal scores etc. But going with the past records, I am afraid this score wont be enough for Mechanical Engineering in General category. They expect a score of atleast 780+ to be part of older IITs. Delhi expects around 790+ where Bombay and Kharagpur expect around 810+ and Madras, Kanpur expect around 800+. Since they being the older IITs, they require very high scores. Please try to push up more as being a part of Old IITs is all worth the struggle. All the best !!
Hi Aspirant
If you are a SC candidate then you might get in top IITs with a score of 500-600.If you are a OBC candidate you should have more than 600 and a general candidate should have score in between 650-700.
