550 is a decent score. Dont pull yourself down because it is just that the cut offs are higher and so 550 might seem less. But it is infact a decent score. In few States, you will get a seat in a GMC. Now coming to NEET 2021, if you have achieved 550 now, you certainly can score higher next year. But still we would suggest you to appear for Counselling for your State to check your options. If you can get a seat, it saves you from taking a drop or reappearing for NEET. Having said that, because NEET 2021 will be conducted with a reduced syllabus and we do not have that syllabus yet, we shall help you with timetable for 10 weeks for NEET. You can repeat the same from 11th week.

Firstly congrats for such a good score.According to me you should not take a drop these year.Your score are good enough to give you a government medical seat through All India Quota and even state level quota.When your score are suh good that it will give you a government seat then why do you want to waste one more year of your life.As you have not mentioned your state and category so its difficult to predict your college.
But don't worry you will surely get a good government medical college.
