- the difficulty of the exam
- category
Here are the cutoffs for different categories in the previous year.
GEN --- >=95
GEN(EWS) --- >=90
OBC --- >=85
OBS(EWS) --- >=80
SC --- >=50
ST --- >=50

Hey Ruchi,
This year JEE-Advance was much easier as compared to last year and thus there is more chances of cutoff being high than last year.
According to various professors and top JEE coaching institutes, cutoff will be in between 120-125 marks.
But, no one can say anything about the cutoff clearly until the official result is announced by NTA.

If you are scoring 87 marks in general category then you might not be qualified because for general category the predicted cut off is >=95 on the basis of previous trends and difficulty level of paper. But since you have scored this much wait for the official cut off list. You may get any good college.
