Dear Mridul, if you look at Institutions like AFMC and other Medical Institutions that conduct admissions based on their NEET score, it can be assumed that AIIMS and JIPMER might follow the same. This is just an assumption. Now if you look at AFMC , it releases its own cut off. And Candidates who qualify according to the cut off have to undergo Psychological Assessment test, TOELR, Final Interview. And Candidates are shortlisted based onthe final score. The same might happen with AIIMS. Now AIIMS might retain their eligibility criteria of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English for General and OBC Categories and 50% for SC,ST Categories. And AIIMS might release their cut offs for each Category and then ask the Candidates who fulfil the aggregate criteria and cut off criteria to apply for admission to their 15 branches including New Delhi. Now this is a possible assumption looking at how AFMC conducts its admission. This might happen or AIIMS might have a different strategy.
Hello dear student,
The information about NEET UG which is that AIIMS UG will be conducted with neet only. That is from the session and that is upcoming session of medical colleges AIIMS and jipmer will not conduct their own exam . They will conduct the exams in collaboration with NEET UG. trust me this is going to be beneficial for the students as they do not have to prepare separately for these exams now they only have to prepare for 1 exam and they will be judged on the basis of that one exam. I hope this was helpful to you.
Best wishes
