According to the KMAT 2018 eligibility criteria, candidates must have a bachelor degree from a recognised university in Karnataka. There is no age bar to appear for KMAT exam. As any aspirant who fails to meet the eligibility criteria set by KPPGCA will not be allowed to sit for the management entrance exam.

- NO you can't appear in this exam untill you hold a bachelors or masters degree of atleast 3 years irrespective of the course and subject.
- Minimum 21 years old. No limit on maximum age.
- Candidates must have passed the above mentioned qualifying examination with at least 50 per cent marks. SC/ST candidates have the benefit of 5 per cent relaxation. Minimum qualifying examination marks for SC/ST is 40 per cent.
- Also15 per cent seats reserved for SC, 7.5 per cent for ST, 27 per cent for OBC and 3 per cent seats reserved for PD.
