In order to apply for government engineering colleges of Maharashtra you should have domicile certificate of Maharashtra.
Other state students are eligible to take admission in private colleges of Maharashtra.

As per DTE Maharashtra, 85% of the seats in private unaided engineering institutes in Maharashtra will be filled through MHT CET, while 15% seats will be filled/reserved for All India Quota based on MHT CET.
