Hi,

Most of the government examination just require a graduation certificate in orfer to be eligible for the examination while some require specific percentage in the graduate level examination. It actually depends on what type of job you are looking for. Then you will be told to qualify the examinations conducted by them and on qualifying you will get the job. Suppose for SSC exams, railway or in some banks, students from all streams are welcomed. But if you want to get employment in a government school of college then you will need to pursue a B.ed and PhD respectively. For RBI you will need to secure certain percentage from certain streams. In order to get a clear picture you can visit the respective website of the government jobs to get a better idea of what you need to pursue that will increase your chances for employment.
