I am studying 12th and I want to become a scientist to do research on disease and invent medicine. Now what should I do next and what should I study further??

hi,

see as for your interest you should go for any  below mentioned bachelors courses to become a scienct on medicine and disease , however you also need to do master and phd after completion of your bachelors.

bachelor in pharmacy

bsc in zoology/microbiology/bio chemistry/chemistry

b.tech in biotechnology.

Hi

Its good to know you are aspiring to go into research. There are several steps you could take next. You could either get enrolled in a basic sciences course eg. BSc in Biotech, or even pursue a technical degree like B.Tech. After this, you will have to choose a field in which you want to gain specialisation, and pursue a PhD in it. You would already be working on a research topic for the 4-5 years of your PhD duration, and you can always take that topic ahead or start working on a new one.

If you are really interested in research, I would suggest you to prepare for IISc or IISERs, they are the premier research institutes of the country.
