After completion on your BE Mechanical Engineering course, you can go for MSc Astrophysics. This master degree course deals with both theoretical and observational aspects of astrophysics, with the course modules consisting of one compulsory module focused on building research skills in Astrophysics, and a variety of different optional modules that focus on topics such as Stars and Nebula, Gravitational Dynamics, and Accretion Physics.
It is a 2 year post graduation course. Admission is given based on the candidate’s performance in the written tests conducted at the level of institutes, and the round of personal interview.
