NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)

NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
You can start with small steps. Start by revising small portion of class 11 chemistry now. It's never too late to start. In case of NEET NCERT chemistry book is the best so revise from there. In organic chemistry a sure shot scoring area as the concepts revolve around specific rules. Hence it is necessary to study these rules and exceptions for certain reactions.
Chapters like Alcohols, Phenols and Ethers and Aldehydes, Ketones and Carboxylic Acids(Unit 11 and 12) are the most important and have a higher weightage of questions.
It is important to read through the entire chapters of Inorganic Chemistry as the student is tested on his/her memory of certain reactions. Most of these questions are direct and Units 6 to 9 are the most important.Coordination Compounds and p-Block elements (8+ Marks with a sure 5 Mark question expected from this chapter) are the most important chapters in Inorganic Chemistry.Develop a Reaction Book, a book listing ALL the reactions when you are preparing.
Hope this helps
Hello aspirant,
Indeed chemistry is an important and scoring subject for NEET. Since your class 11 concepts are not clear, take your time and study the class 12 concepts really well. Prepare a time table and make time for the class 11 concepts once in every 3-4days. There are many easy and scoring chapters in class 11 too, make sure they are at your fingertips. You will need the class 11 organic chemistry concepts for class 12 too, so give the class 11 chapters a reading whenever you get bored from studying the physical and inorganic parts. Since you have not done well in class 11, you should be prepared to work twice harder than other students in class 12. All the best!
Hello aspirant, you are studying in class 12 you don't have much time to brush up your concepts.
What you can do is ananlyse which topics you are weak in and you got to revise them and clear all your doubts regarding them.
Another important point is you do an analysis on previous years papers that which topics are imp and are more often asked and which topics are of least importance so that you don't loose time in doing the topics of less weightage .With this also don't loose your focus on 12 .
Remember consistency is the key you should have regularity and you'll get through.

Good luck!
Scoring 140+ in chemistry for neet is not very easy.
You have to thoroughly go through the four books(2 volumes of +1 and of +2) including that few small chapters at the last which everyone thinks are useless.
For organic chemistry, you can rely on ncerts.
For inorganic , try making some mnemonics .
You should also do the last year question papers either from -37 years jee problems(Disha publications) or from - GRB Publications(Neet edition)
Revision is necessary in the last 2 months.
As you have not paid attention in +1, so you should start working hard from today itself to achieve your goals.
Best of Luck!!!
You go through ncert of chemistry by heart.. Keep the concepts of ncert on your fingertips.. Also for organic and inorganic chemistry don't go for any other books as the reactions and all are asked from ncert itself..For physical chemistry you can try some question book.. Good luck..
