SAT – Stands for Scholastic Aptitude Test.
Each year, SAT is taken by over 3 million students globally. The SAT is administered seven times a year in the United States and six times per year internationally.
About Test: SAT tests the skills you learn in school: reading, writing and Math. Reading 200-800 points (70 Minutes), Math 200-800 points (70 Minutes), Writing 200-800 points (60 Minutes). Total test time: 3 hours and 45 minutes.
Validity: SAT scores are valid for 5 years. One can request a Question-and-Answer Service up to five months after your test date
Eligibility Criteria
There are no specific SAT eligibility criteria 2017 for taking the test. Since it is taken for undergraduate admissions in colleges, students are advised to take the test when they are in senior high school. There is no age limit as such; candidates can take the test for admission as well for seeking financial assistance.
SAT Syllabus
SAT test 2017 is based on subjects taught in high school programs. The four main topics covered in SAT Reasoning syllabus are Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, Reading Test, Writing and Language Test and Math. SAT subject test again includes the above mentioned subjects. According to the SAT 2017 syllabus, the total duration of the test is 3 hours. However, candidates will be given another 50 minutes for the Essay, which is optional.
