power of civil servant is highest in the country.Even IITian and Doctors try for civil service, so the competition is quite high. In 2018 around 11 lakhs people applied for Civil services and out of which 759 got selected so the selection ratio is quite low.so, if you have some backup then it will be easy for you to crack Civil service as you not have much mental pressure, if you will not able to crack civil service then you can move to your field.but incase if you don't have any backup then it will create a mental pressure during your preparation time as you have to clear it any way you don't have much option. so my suggestion to you is to first try for IIT or NEET then try for civil services.
If you have any queries regarding this then you can ask in the comment section.
You don't need JEE or NEET in order to appear for UPSC Civil Service, you just need to attain 21 years ago and passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university, you can apply even in your final year of graduation.
UPSC doesn't discriminate amidst aspirants and hence allow people from all fields whether it's engineering, medical, arts, commerce, media, law or any other field. You just need to be a graduate from a recognized university with no minimum aggregate required in this case
