Hello Dear,

History Honors will form your base in the subject, irrespective of the college and the university. To get better opportunities in the area, it is recommended to pursue your masters first. During your masters, you can choose the area of your specialization. Hence, it is recommended to pursue your masters first.

Career opportunities after History -

1. Archaeology 2. Research Assistant 3. Art Restoration 4- Museum Curator 5- Archivist 6.UPSC

good luck

Dear Bhupender Sharma,

After History Honours, you can sit for placement drives open for all courses, work with reputed meusems, historians, archaeologists or even start your own research work along with higher studies.

Look bhupendra according  to my knowledge i this field most common path observed by students are:

Lectureship (UGC)

Civil Exam Preparation

Govt. Jobs (mostly banking)

Hope you got your answer.

Good luck :)
