I am studying inter 1st year I want to become a engineering officer so what I can do in future
Just like Civil services, engineers appear for IES Exams that is Indian Engineering Services. This exam is Organised by UPSC a constitutional body. To become Engineering officer you need to appear and qualify IES exams. IES is organized for most of the departments excluding few such as Chemical Engineering. So after completing your Engineering you can appear for this exam and become an officer.

To become an engineer you will have to Qualify for the JEE exams which you can now give twice a year.So, when you will qualify for jee with good marks you will be alotted college where you can choose which branch of engineering is good for you and that suits you with your interest.Its a 4 year course which is called BTech.Where after completing the degree you will be called as an engineer.

For engineering officer, you have to do engineering. After than you can become engineering officer. First achieve good rank in jee so that you can get admission in good engineering colleges after completing engineering, You can join private companies or you can go for GATE and Engineering Services Examination. Through this examination, You can get job in top government companies.
But for now, you main aim should be JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. Obtain good marks in these examination.
