There are quite a few PG Courses in Genetics. For example, Human Genetics, Genetic Counselling, Genetics and Genomics. The eligibility depends on each course. To be eligible for M.Sc Genetics in India, you should have a Bachelor's degree in any of the subjects like Biology, Genetics, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Life sciences, Molecular Biology and Biomedical sciences. But to study MD in Genetics after MBBS, we have just one college in India and that is Aryabhatta Knowledge University which conducts its admissions based on NEET PG. But with NEET PG being scrapped in the next 3 years, the admissions will be based on the rules at that point in time. But yes you can study MD in Genetics after your MBBS.
