Yes, you can only if the school authorities allow you to do so. Most of the schools enroll the students for class 12th Board examination when the students are in 11th. So, this may pose as a problem for the school. But you can confirm this with your school authorities.

It is somewhere possible but generally there are not many schools in India that allow that to happen,also it is not advisable to change stream in class 12.. Still you can have a talk with your school authorities about that if you really want it to.
