I am taking coaching for the gate preparation. but I want to know what should be the strategy to be read for the gate and ies bothto qualify
Everyone has there own capabilities & strengths if you do hardwork & prepare your strategy it will surely help.
In my opinion try to check previous year question papers & join some good test series.

dont put your brain in two things together,because nobody can handle two great things at a time,you need to first sit for 2 days and understand what are your priorities and whats your passion,though you can try giving two exams but preparing for both together at the same time is liking putting yourself to a lot of stress.
So at last i suggest you to purely prepare for one thing and do it to irs best overcoming all distractions,dont prepare for IES,if you will learn for GATE well then you might be having brains to give the paper of IES.
best strategy is to follow previous years questions more and to focus on study material of institutes thats biggest part of planning becoz we are unable to read standard in depth book thats why required knowledge comes from smart work not only hardwork
