I am totally confused,some of my friends ask me MCA is not good,do general competition , what can I do?

There is nothing like that I would suggest you to go for the course in which you have maximum interest and in which you can give your best. Also, MCA post graduates are hired both by Government agencies NTPC, GAIL, BHEL etc and private IT companies like Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, IBM, American Express, HCL, HP as a fresher, an MCA professional can expect anything around 2.4 to 3.4 lakhs, and with experience, sky is the limit. Also, after getting MCA degree you can get various Career Opportunities likeSoftware Developer/Programmer/Engineer, Troubleshooter, System Analyst, Software Application Architect, Software Consultant, Hardware Engineer, Technical Writer, Systems Developer/Engineer, Web Designer and Developer,Starting a new Venture.
