Hello,
The eligibility criteria to appear for TNPSC Group 4 Exam for the respective posts are as follows-
Village Administrative Officer/Junior Assistant (Non-Security)/Junior Assistant (Security)/Bill Collector - Grade 1/Field Surveyor/Draftsman : Passed S.S.L.C Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies (or) to College Courses of studies.
In case of Typist/Steno-Typist (Grade 3) apart from aforementioned educational qualification candidates must have passed the government technical exam in typewriting-
The age criteria for VAO is 21 years to 30 years, for rest of the posts it's 18 years to 30 years, the exam is conducted in three stages, written, document verification, and counselling. When it comes to your choice for a graduation stream, the question of a course being easy depends totally on you, if you find any subject interesting you should go ahead with that choice, and if in future you want to go for Group 1 exam of TNPSC then its eligibility criteria itself states that candidates from any discipline are allowed to appear for the exam, hence there is no such restrictions in terms of belonging to specific stream for that matter, but the syllabus of TNPSC Group 1 is more directed towards humanities stream, so if you're interested in graduation in subjects like economics, history, geography, political science, public administration etc which have considerable overlap with the syllabus portion of the exam, so in that case you will be well acquainted with the syllabus at least prior to appearing for the exam, other than this as I said there is no such restrictions, you should choose the course which you find interesting, because you have to study that subjects for a period of three/four years, hence make your decision accordingly,
