For admission in Engineering colleges in Maharashtra through MHT CET, following are the documents required:
Marksheet of 10th
Marksheet of 12th
Caste certificate
Date of birth proof
Domicile
Photo and signature
Domicile document is required during the admission process. Since you are a type a candidate your birth place certificate will also persist.

No, Type A candidates who have either completed their SSC/ diploma from Maharashtra or are born in Maharashtra do not need a domicile certificate
However, Type B candidates whose parents are domicile of Maharashtra need to posses a domicile certificate
