Hi Aspirant,

This totally depends on your choice.

The opportunities in almost every branch is same.

Although these days CSE,IT and ECE have had an upper hand in the jobs provided, the presence of core branches, viz. mechanical, electrical and civil in the public sector can only be acknowledged.

Also, these days, you'll find branches like mining, petroleum, environmental and nd metallurgy also fetching some very decent jobs and very handsome salaries.

So,the scope in all the branches is more or less the same.

Now,for choosing your branch, understand where your interest lies and what do you want to do.The branch you choose decides your future,so be careful in choosing it.Also, make sure you choose what you want to do the most rather than what returns it will have because if you do things which lie in your domain and if you follow your passion, you'll surely achieve success.

Hope this helps.

Just go with CSE and trust me You will no regret after four years, don't mind it but the students who ask which branch should I choose they do not have any interest in Engineering just listen to your inner voice before telling me anything. I know that you have just decided that you want to do engineering but you don't know why ,I think there is nothing wrong in it but Choose CSE because 50 percent of the jobs are in cse . There is nothing comparable to CSE.
Note that here CSE means both. IT and CSE .
ECE is also good but I don't recommend you.

Look each and every branch is equally important and have many career options it depends on your choice what you want to choose. For good salaries nowadays computer science branch have more scope as technologies are getting advance day by day so demand of software engineer is high in the market bt it doesn't mean that other branch have low opportunities you can opt for any of them

Hi,

Well to be honest, engineering has lost its charm. The field doesn't offer you a good ROI unless you have some extra certificates.

But yet to answer you i would rank

1. It

2. Cse

3. Mechanical

4. Etrx and extc

5. Civil and automobile

I would also suggest you to find out your interest in field and choose accordingly rather than thinking about the demands in market.

All the best

I know that you don't have any interest in Engineering but you want to do it, I must say you that nothing compares CSE when it comes for placement as you don't have any interest so you should go with CSE so that you can easily get a job. Other'departments don't have good record of placement in core engineering , You may Hear that ECE have good opportunity but not better than CSE, Many student who got placed from ECE are actually placed in software development profile, so best as per your requirement is CSE ,IT

Helo shivam, calm down and take a deep breadth. think about what you like. what are your interest, what is your passion. if you like electronics, sensors and microprocessor then go for ECE, if you like coding, programming than go for CSE, if you like machines  motros, generators thn go for ME. there are many fields. just be calm and think what you like , you will surely get the answer.

thanks
