If you wish to make your career in Engineering field, then you have to complete 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subjects along with English from a recognized board. Apart from this, if you have gotten Civil Engineering in an engineering college, then in first year, there you have to Study physics and Chemistry as well as Mathematics. And this same for all the branches for the first year at least. Now civil engineering is a bit related to mechanics which involves Physics. So there will be involvement of topics from Physics like Elasticity, Tension, Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics, Torque, Momentum, Force, Capillary Action, Oscillations, Potential Energy and many more. However, Chemistry has less involvement in Civil Engineering compared to Physics while Physics plays a vital role. But if you focus on your weak parts regularly for few days and work on them, try to understand the mechanisms behind those topics, solve problems after understanding, you can easily get a grip over them.

Hello,
Yes physics is important in Civil Engineering, which is derivative of Mechanics which in turn is a form ofPhysics.
But if you are interested in Civil Engineering go for it as maybe in college you start liking Physics.
