hey
according to previous year cut off trend in west bengal i think you cannot get government mbbs seat in west bengal through state quota with 478 marks. in 2018 the cut off of governmnet medical colleges in west bengal was above 480 marks. but we are not sure so sont use lose hope. you can get colleges in other state under all india quota since 478 marks are not at all bad. just hope foir best results.

Well a government medical college is difficult with that score since you need a minimum of 480 marks. But still you are close so there are chances. So apply for the counseling process.
And about the private colleges. You are eligible for the following colleges
IQ City Medical College and Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, Durgapur
Jagannath Gupta Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital, Kolkata
KPC Medical College and Hospital, Jadavpur
