yes your ward acan appear in CEE Assam.
the eligibility criteria for CEE assam is enlisted below-
Nationality : The candidates should be of Indian nationality.
Domicile : Should be permanent residents of Assam.
Age Limit : The candidates should be more than 17 years of age as on August 1, 2019. The maximum age limit is 21 years.
Qualifying Examination : Candidates should have qualified 10+2th (or equivalent) examination from Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) or any other equivalent examination. Additionally, the candidates should have passed the examination individually in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English without any grace marks. They should have appeared for all of the subjects in the examination.
Required Marks : The candidates are required to score aggregate 50% collectively in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. SC candidates will have to secure 45% marks while ST candidates will have to score 40% marks.
Character : Should possess good moral character.

Physics and Mental Fitness: It is a requirement that the candidates should be in good physical and mental health.
The authorities provide age relaxation under special cases:

Those candidates who have completed their B.Sc degree will be eligible for one year age relaxation.

For SC/ST category candidates, there is an age relaxation of 3 years
For admissions into the B.Tech courses offered by the participating institutes, the candidates will also have to ensure that they attempt and qualify Assam CEE 2019.
